This site was originally conceived in 1997 as a medium to share my writing and poetry. The opportunity to reach a global audience across the burgeoning World Wide Web intrigued me. Over the years, the response has been warm and overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to each person who has graciously taken a moment to share how my work touched you in some way. From the first, my goal was to create a cyber domain to house thoughtful and visionary explorations in the realms of spirituality, politics, and human advancement. SoulerFlare.com, born in 2007, is the seed that will grow into that vision. SoulerFlare is a term I coined when I created my first ID back in the early days of Yahoo! The word, a combination of the astronomical term "solar flare" and the word soul, quickly took on a deeper meaning for me. It evokes the unimaginable energy of a massive eruption on the surface of a star and the yet more astonishing power and light that emanates from the core of every human being on this planet. When deciding on a domain name for this website, SoulerFlare was the only choice.
